Our club was founded in 2009.
The Gearbox committee was formed in 2011.
This was to assist in arranging the club's growing number of events and commitments.
Naturally since then things have grown and SADCASE has become one of the biggest clubs in the South East.
As of January 2022 the Gearbox is as follows:
- Robert Carter joint chair (membership & comms);
- Jessica Carter joint chair (membership & comms)
- Mike Toynbee (PR, calendars, charity liaison)
- Simon Hoy (treasurer)
- Jamie Brown-Consultant Website/Facebook
- Martin Pester (Honorary president)
Your club has grown in the past decade from a meeting of a dozen like-minded souls.
The founding principles of your club remain unchanged: no hierarchy, no snobbery and, very simply, if you love it, then so do we!
One of the gearbox committee are usually to be found at every SADCASE event, and will happily discuss or provide information on any club matter.
In addition we usually make a monthly announcement at our Amberley Museum meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.
