SADCASE member Harry Sherrard is driving a Jeep Renegade from Storrington to Ukraine. Not only that, he is filling it with medical and other humanitarian supplies and then giving it to the Ukraine authorities to help with their struggle with Russia that has cost so many lives.
The Renegade was originally finished in lovely shade of red but needed to be repainted in camouflage green for entry into Ukraine as seen above. Harry was present at the first SADCASE Amberley Museum meeting earlier this month when he gave short speech outlining the forthcoming agenda.
He will be leaving the country this coming Wednesday and will then drive through Germany and Poland before arriving in Ukraine. SADCASE stickers will be proudly displayed on his Jeep Renegade.
Harry will provide photos for inclusion in the May or June Newsletter.
Go for it Harry. We are all rooting for you!
SADCASE offers him every best wish and will donate to his worthwhile fundraising efforts to further help the Ukraine cause.
A number of members have mentioned that the fundraising link was not working. Apologies-now operational.
If any member would like to donate then please click here .
Or members can donate items. The Jeep is packed full of medical equipment so only smaller things can be taken. Items that are in demand include fan belts, tarpaulins, battery and phone chargers, body wipes (for troop hygiene on the front line) and cable ties of all sizes.
If you are able to help and supply items that will reach the people that are in desperate need then please either email SADCASE or Harry.
