SADCASE MEMBERS MEETING 18th AUGUST10am-4.00pm
IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT
Members meeting "Kestrel Farm" 18th August.
PLEASE remember to bring your own picnic and chairs. There will not be any food and drink stalls - just one lovely lady selling ice creams
Volunteers are needed on the day even for an hour to direct and park members cars. If you are able to assist, please arrive at 9.15. You will be provided with a SADCASE hi-vis jacket for the day!
This is the event replacing our normal July/August Storrington show usually held at this time of year. Our first major event this year was of course held at the Amberley museum on Whitsun Monday. It is a members meeting that we trust will be well represented with our classic cars and bikes and maybe an odd tractor..
FREE ! You do not have to purchase a ticket or confirm you are attending. We look forward to you just turning up on the day! We will be providing Toilets and waste bins paid out of club funds. We would be very grateful for any contributions towards these costs. Please remember to ensure any litter is either dropped into one of the bins provided or taken away with you.
Relax ! The idea of the day is to enjoy possibly the last big event of the year when the sun will surely shine!
Games. There will be enough room to unwind with a football, frisbee, cricket bat and ball and even a drone. Come on, surprise us!
Dogs. Well behaved dogs are welcome but as there are sheep nearby, they must be kept on a lead. Please remember to bring a poo bag.
DIRECTIONS: This event can be found by following the Coolham Road B2139 northwards from Storrington and then turning left into Harbolets Road B2133 heading towards Adversane. The field will be found just 400 yards or so on the right. Please slow down as the entrance is on a bend and can be overshot. We will be advertising the event with SADCASE flags at the entrance so we trust you will not miss it. For those using sat navs or a phone the post code is RH20 2LQ. For those using the "whatthreewords" app the code is autumn.hunches.defected
Access. Please use the gravel road when entering the farm taking you past the barn then drive onto the field and through the large gap in the hedge. There is plenty of room to park.
Leaving. When leaving the event we would ask everyone to turn left on the road as it can be dangerous to attempt a right turn.
Thanks to Harry and Lorrane Sherrard for the use of their huge field for the day.
Have a great day.
The Sadcase Gearbox committee.
