February's Car of the Month from member Alex Baker: "Quite a rare beast now a days….. It’s a 1972 Auto. Ive been waiting for well over a year for it to come up for sale buy the owner who owned it for 8 years with the prev owner (the chairman of the OMOC) owning it for 25 years before him.
Just over 70k which is backed up by many old MOT’s. All completely standard and mostly original apart from a couple of small welded patches which isn’t too bad for a 53 year old Opel. The A Series was in production from Sept 1970 to Sept 1975 when the more familiar B Series was introduced. This being the Auto with a factory sunroof makes it quite a rare car."
